What to expect.

During this interactive knowledge session Lenneke Muller (lawyer construction law) and Nieske Nijkamp (lawyer labor law) will discuss the topics below. After breakfast you may be able to put the knowledge gained into practice immediately as the working day will have just begun.

• What options do I have for retaining older workers?
• Tightened rules on illness and absenteeism and the role of the company doctor. What should I take into account?
• I want to downsize my workforce, but do not have the financial room to award severance pay, nor do I want to go bankrupt. Are there any alternatives?
• Employing self-employed workers in construction. What is the state of affairs?
• Privacy rules and control regulations. What documents may and may not I provide when I hire or loan workers to another contractor or collaborate on site with other parties?
• What may and may not be deducted and withheld from salary since the second part of the Law on Tackling Sham Construction went into effect?
• What should you do if confidential data on, for example, quotes, customer data or financial figures end up on the street. Do I have to deal with this under the Data Breach Act?
