On Thursday, July 19 it was time again: the annual 'Hammer Party' during the Nijmegen Four Days Marches. At a beautiful location near the former Hotel Hamer in Berg en Dal, right on the Four Days Marches route, we cheered on the more than 44,000 Four Days Marches walkers together with our relations. A sun-drenched day during which we enjoyed the Four Days Marches spectacle, now for the eleventh time, while enjoying great music, snacks and drinks.
This eleventh edition was again organized in cooperation with service club The Round Table 11. We received a record number of visitors. All proceeds from the party this year were earmarked for the Karuna Foundation, Stichting Koprol and Stichting Leergeld.
Over 44,000 walkers passed through our location, all of whom were cheered equally enthusiastically by us and our associates. We take our hat off to all participants, because with a temperature of 28 degrees, walking 30, 40 or even 50 kilometers is an enormous challenge. Our enthusiastic cheering will not have been the reason, hopefully it has provided even more motivation.
We look back on a successful eleventh edition of the Hammer Party. We thank all relations and The Round Table 11 for the conviviality and hope you will be there again next year!
