Stefan Kloots appointed partner at Poelmann van den Broek

Effective January 1, 2020, Stefan Kloots will be a partner at Poelmann van den Broek. As a lawyer, Stefan specializes in construction matters and has proven to be very valuable for the long-term strategic direction of our firm. 

Ready for the future

From his new appointment, Stefan, along with fellow partner Henk Verschuur, will use his expertise to further expand their team's position in the construction and real estate industry at a firm that also focuses on retailers and manufacturing and tech companies. "Our team specialized attorneys primarily advises and litigates on contracts and disputes related to construction and property development," Stefan says. "In addition to current developments in areas such as nitrogen, PFAS and CO2, digitalization and robotization are also taking off in the coming years. Companies in the construction process are deploying innovative ICT applications and are therefore facing new issues. Moreover, sustainable initiatives such as building as a service and circular construction also lead to new questions, such as to different financing and ownership structures and related contracts. I follow these developments with extraordinary interest and try to advise and assist my clients in this."

In the position of salary partner, Stefan has been working toward this new challenge over the past few years. "This step offers me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge and bring it further outside.
