Valerie Lipman will become a salary partner at Poelmann van den Broek effective January 1, 2020. As an attorney, her focus is on the areas of commercial contracts, intellectual property, ICT and privacy law.

"I have put my focus on commercial contracts and in connection with that intellectual property, ICT and privacy. This may sound like a broad focus, but actually these areas of law are highly interrelated. For example, many contracts contain provisions on intellectual property and privacy. In addition, the ever-increasing digitalization means that more and more issues arise in the field of ICT. As far as I am concerned, a specialization in commercial contracts cannot do without knowledge of intellectual property, ICT and privacy. I find it very interesting that everything is so intertwined. Thus, in recent years I have specialized in more and more in this development."
