We get out of bed to support good causes

Inspired people work at Poelmann van den broek. They not only dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to a legal cause, but also collectively support valuable local initiatives for charity. We are incredibly proud of all the efforts made by our colleagues over the past period and will of course continue to heartily encourage such initiatives!

Important in this regard is our connection with our customers. When they initiate charities and activities, we are happy to cooperate. Because the closer we are together, the further we can get together. Also in the social sphere.

The Giesbers Bicycle Day

We can look back on a great day of cycling on the first autumn day of 2019. With almost 80 participants, Jeroen Brinkman, Tom Teggelaar and Robin Evens rode together through the sun-drenched and wooded hilly landscape between Nijmegen and Groesbeek. There were quite a few treacherous climbs in the route, and this may have led to a few days of muscle pain in the upper legs. But above all, they cycled a beautiful final result together and we could hand over a check of 7,750 euros to ambassador and co-founder of our office Wil van den Broek of the Nijmegen Foundation Koprol. After a bike ride of about 80 kilometers, in which the "Oude Holle" was also climbed, the day ended with drinks and a barbecue.

The Jupla Rally

On Saturday, August 30, our colleagues participated with relations in the 9th edition of the JuPla Rally. With 114 teams, the event was once again a new highlight. Since two years Poelmann van den Broek is the main sponsor. A record total of 5,500.00 euros was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Nijmegen. Poelmann van den Broek looks back on a very successful edition and we are already looking forward to next year's rally!

Swim to fight cancer 2019

Last but not least. Last month, our colleagues Erik Jansen and Eva Timmermans put in a top performance by swimming 1,500 meters in the ice-cold mirror canal. In doing so, they raised a magnificent amount of 4,154 euros, thus doing their bit for the fight against cancer.
