The Personal Data Authority, the Dutch privacy watchdog, is getting signals that organizations are getting calls saying they must pay a fine. Their Web sites allegedly do not comply with the AVG.
Beware! This person is posing as someone calling on behalf of the Personal Data Authority. This is not an action from the Personal Data Authority. A fine from the Personal Data Authority never comes out of the blue. This will always be preceded by an investigation.
Want to avoid a "real" fine from the Personal Data Authority? Then contact (one of) our privacy specialists: Valerie Lipman or Annemarie van Woudenberg. We will be happy to assist you.
