Privacy is a particularly topical subject that everyone has to deal with every day. Whether in business, education or healthcare. Combined with the ever-changing employment law, Annemarie's practice is constantly evolving. Annemarie likes it when no day is the same and she is challenged to be ahead of the curve. HR managers, data protection officers/data protection officers, works councils and at board level, everyone relies on Annemarie's knowledge. Because she is the specialist, who knows what all to think about. 

Her interest in the subject of privacy was sparked from her years of experience in employment law. The speed at which technology develops is contagious, Annemarie believes. It gives her energy and inspires her to use her creativity to get organizations on board and ready for the future. Regulations are far from being chewed out.

• Supervise a reorganization for economic reasons and ensure that the correct steps are followed. This includes an advisory process with the Works Council, submitting dismissal requests to the UWV and investigating with the redundant employees whether the employment contract can also be terminated by mutual agreement.
• Dismissal procedures through the courts and/or the UWV for various reasons such as a disrupted working relationship, culpable actions by the employee, business economic/organizational reasons, dysfunction or a summary dismissal contested by the employee.
• Advising on and participating in the development of new products and services in conjunction with privacy legislation.
• Drafting and then advising on the rollout of a privacy policy for an organization.
• Litigate and advise on the interpretation of (provisions in) agreements, regulations and other policies.
• Advising on and drafting processor agreements, employment contracts, engagement agreements, privacy statements, protocols (data breaches, monitoring e-mail and Internet use, camera surveillance, codes of conduct, etc.) and company regulations.
• Conducting in-house workshops on the impact of the AVG on organizations and how to deal with it in practice.
• Assisting our clients in legal proceedings in personal data processing disputes (such as a customer or employee) or other privacy disputes (such as when the AP takes enforcement action).
