We are looking for an enthusiastic trainee lawyer to expand our practice. You will participate fully from the beginning and will soon be given your own responsibilities.
Our team consists of four attorneys specialized in civil law, a legal assistant and a team assistant (legal secretary). Together we advise business owners on bankruptcy issues, restructurings, financing & securities and banking issues. We also provide recovery work (including directors' liability proceedings and attachments) for our clients. Our attorneys team can also be appointed as trustees in bankruptcies: this room to grow also applies to you. In your position you will assist the attorneys in the role of receiver and assist in the advisory and litigation practice.
Once you start with us, you will start working as a legal assistant. You will be part of an ambitious team. In your daily work, you will support the attorneys in their files by doing fact and case law research, drafting draft letters and litigation. In short, you will assist the attorneys in all facets of their files. One day they will be a sparring partner for an experienced corporate lawyer, the next day a questioner for a business owner. Very varied and dynamic. You can count on help: your colleague's proverbial door is always open for sparring. Moreover, one of our attorneys employees will guide you and be your permanent point of contact.
After an introductory period, during which you will get to know our firm and our clients well, and upon proven suitability, you will quickly grow into the role of trainee attorney(s)* and start professional training attorneys. You will then start working on your own files. We like you to excel. So you will be given assignments that you are good at and that you enjoy doing. You translate your knowledge into practical advice. This is rewarding work, because you notice how happy the client is when they can immediately proceed with your advice. Although you recognize problems, you always think in terms of solutions.
*Ifyou are already more advanced in professional training, we will of course take this into account.

Furthermore, you have a completed degree in Dutch law, preferably in civil law. You have good analytical skills and some creativity and curiosity. Of course you have excellent oral and written expression in the Dutch language.
