Do you have at least three years of experience as a lawyer specializing in civil construction law? Are you ready for the next step, but at a firm with an informal atmosphere? Then we are immediately looking for you!

About this position

Our Construction team consists of seven construction lawyers specializing in civil law and two team assistants (legal secretaries). Together we assist our clients with construction projects, from small to large, from homes to residential neighborhoods and from roads to wind farms. We advise on contracts/contract formation, forms of cooperation, tenders and general conditions, including the UAV, UAV GC and DNR, and assist our clients in disputes. Our clients include medium and large contractors (including several from the top 20 in the Netherlands), installers, suppliers of building products and developers.

We also deal with current topics such as energy transition, circularity, AI and smart buildings, and support our clients in adopting new regulations such as the Building Quality Assurance Act

Your focus

After your induction period, during which you will get to know our firm and our clients well, you will start working on your own files and build up your own client portfolio. You will participate directly in the litigation and advisory practice and be part of an ambitious team. You will also work together with attorneys from other service areas on, for example, project development issues.

We like you to excel, so you'll get the work you're good at and enjoy doing. You translate your knowledge into practical advice. This is rewarding work, because you notice how happy the customer is when they can immediately proceed with your advice. Although you recognize problems, you always think in terms of solutions. Very varied and dynamic. You can count on help: your colleagues will be happy to spar with you.

Your profile

We are not looking for the sheep with five legs. This sheep does not exist. We are looking for a construction law attorney with at least 3 years of work experience who has graduated in Dutch Law, majoring in civil law. Your analytical skills and judgment are well developed. Furthermore, it is useful if you are a team player who loves the construction industry. Also the technical aspects have your interest. You are creative, curious and want to deliver quality. That's why you will feel at home with us, because we all want to achieve the best results for our customers. Maybe you have a commercial attitude and the ambition to grow? These could also be traits you want to develop with us.

This makes it extra fun

  • A salary between €5,283.84 and €8,805.22 gross per month (depending on age and work experience) based on 40-hour (full-time) employment.
  • 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Maximum of 3 mandatory leave days, 2 of which are at the employer's expense. 
  • Work-from-home opportunities and compensation.
